This tag places an icon in the tinymce visual editor and a button in the html editor that allows a user to enter an RSS feed url, choose the number of items to display, and choose to display content, author or date for each item. It works via the use of a shortcode in the following format:

The first WordPress plugin that I’d like to share with you is called, Comment Luv. Comment Luv adds an icon below your posts with a checkbox next to it. When this box is checked and people leave a comment on one of your blog posts, it will automatically pull in a link to the most recent blog posts from their blog!

This is a fantastic way to add value added content to your site while building relationships with your readers and making it more enticing for people to want to leave comments on your posts.

WP Greet Box

This plugin lets you show a different greeting message to your new visitors depending on their referrer url. For example, when a Digg user clicks through from Digg, they will see a message reminding them to digg your post if they like it. Another example, when a visitor clicks through from Twitter, they will see a message suggesting them to twit the post and follow you on Twitter. You can also set a default greeting message for new visitors (not matching any referrer URLs) suggesting them to subscribe to your RSS feed. Having these targeted suggestions will help your blog increase exposure, loyal readership, and reader interaction. Best of all, this plugin is compatible with WPMU and various WordPress cache plugins (so you do not have to sacrifice speed).
